In 2019, my wife, Tera, and I moved to Japan. It was a chance to step back and reassess the next chapter of our lives. That time forced me to confront the patterns and distractions that were holding me back.

Change didn’t happen overnight. It took years of showing up—through discomfort, discipline, and eventually, sobriety.

That process reshaped how I saw everything. Not just in my life, but in the products around me. Most apparel felt loud or lifeless. I wanted something better. Minimal. Elevated. Built for who I was becoming.

So I left my career in branding and built ODAAT.

ODAAT stands for One Day At A Time. A mindset about doing the work, choosing progress over perfection, and showing up when it counts.
