Founded in Sobriety. Built on Resilience.

In 2019, my wife Tera and I moved to Japan. It was a time of deep reflection—a chance to reassess my life, career, and relationship with alcohol. Japan sparked something in me, but it wasn’t the end of my journey. My path wasn’t smooth—filled with challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt. It took multiple attempts and, eventually, time in treatment before I fully embraced sobriety. That period of introspection gave me clarity on what I truly wanted from life.

I saw a gap in the market—most apparel lacked the subtlety and quality that reflects real personal growth and resilience. I wanted something different: understated, high-quality clothing that speaks to the quiet strength found in everyday perseverance. With Tera’s support, I left my career in branding and built ODAAT Apparel.

Our brand icon, the origami crane, was inspired by my time in Japan. It embodies the values of hope, healing, and resilience—the same qualities I carry with me every day.

ODAAT stands for “One Day At A Time.” We focus on minimal, intentional designs that serve as reminders of daily perseverance. This brand isn’t just about recovery—it’s for anyone who values personal growth and the small steps that lead to lasting change.
