I'm not a person in recovery, per se but I've been going through a "dark night of the soul" experience the last 2 years. I'm working with a therapist and much to my surprise the concepts of letting go of, staying present, accepting reality, dealing with past regrets and trauma are identical to the process of recovery that the "One Day At A Time" philosophy epitomizes.

This past year I've been carrying one of many challenge coins to remind me to stay present, make a different choice in my life and keep moving forward. I saw the ODAAT Kintsugi coin and I added it to my daily carry. I carry the ODAAT coin and one other coin from my collection in tandem to remind me every day to make a better choice every day. The Kintsugi design is a reminder to me to integrate all parts of myself and accept all of me.

I've also bought the Progress over Perfection T-shirt as a guiding principle to stop overthinking and letting fear of failure run my life. It reminds me to be kinder to myself. (I hope the hat comes back in stock also)

As someone in recovery, ODAAT Apparel has become so much more than just a brand to me, it’s a reflection of my journey.
